White-crowned Sparrow, Cley 2008

This wonderful bird was found by Richard and Sue Bending feeding in their Cley garden on 3rd January 2008. It is only the 4th British record of this species, the previous records being:

15th-16th May 1977 Fair Isle 

22nd May 1977 Hornsea Mere

 2nd Ocober 1995 Seaforth Docks

There is 1 record from Southern Ireland: 20th-27th May 2003 Dursey Sound, Co. Cork
