Being Norfolk born and bred I was never far away from many great birding locations. It was here at an early age I began to learn many of the skills which would enable me to enjoy birding as I do. From the Norfolk coast I ventured out into the twitching world, chasing rarities all over the country. I spent many weeks on Fair Isle and the Scillies before being tempted to foreign shores. South-east Asia was the first area which I concentrated on before visiting Africa and then South America. Peru is one of my favorite countries in South America and I have spent a great many months guiding all over the country. During my foreign trips I have now built up a nice library of bird recordings as well as some digital photos, some better than others!
