Shovel-billed Kingfisher
These photographs were taken at Nimbokrang, West Papua on 26th July 2008. This wonderful female was flushed from its feeding area which was in an area of forest floor which had been churned up by rooting pigs. She allowed us to have wonderful scope views for over 15 mins.
